Oracle Advanced Pricing provides flexibility in Pricing of Sale Items or Services based on various Item Attributes (like Size, Color, Period,.etc.). This is achieved by enabling 'Pricing Attributes' in pricing rules. During Sale order entry, system compares the Item Attributes defined in Item Master and with 'Pricing Attribute' defined in Pricing rule, based on this system calculates the right pricing. Oracle provides flexibility of doing the pricing with 'Pricing Attributes' by (1) User can provide correct values for attribute in Sale order, on which the pricing can happen (2) Doing the System Mapping with item attribute and Pricing attribute, on which the system does the pricing during sale order entry.
