Presentation: "Oracle Sourcing"

Oracle Sourcing is key component of the Oracle Advanced Procurement Suite. Using this online collaboration and negotiation tool allows experts from multiple organizations to exchange information, define requirements, invite suppliers, conduct negotiation (Reverse Auctions or RFx), and create new contracts. Buying professionals, business experts, and suppliers can all collaborate to create agreements that provide the best terms.

Robert started with Oracle Consulting in 1996. He left for a 1 1/2 years to work for a internet marketplace for the Pulp and Paper industry called FiberMarket.com. He returned to Oracle as a Product Manager in Oracle Development working on Oracle Exchange (Oracle's marketplace product) which later became Oracle Sourcing. As a Product Manager, he is interested in listening to customer needs and feedback to continue to develop the product. He will present an overview of Oracle Sourcing and how it fits into the Advanced Procurement Suite.
