**New** - Vendor Demo - Oracle Patch Tracking System

O.P.T.S. - Mind Share Systems has developed a way of tracking patches applied to the Applications Instances.

Features:
Tar Management - tracks Technical Assistance Requests and associates patches to specific TARs. Patch Management - tracks special instructions and prerequisite patches required for installing patches. When applying a patch in O.P.T.S, the current patches are searched to verify that prerequisite patches have been applied. Refresh Instance - allows a copy of all patches from a Source Instance to the Target Instance. Instance Scoresheet - tracks which servers the instances are located and the software versions.

Jim Poole of Char-Broil will be sharing their project team's experience installing Oracle Applications and how aggressively managing both organizational change and post-implementation support can make the difference between project success or failure. Topics will include: Creating Organization Structures, Developing Communication Plans, Documentation Templates and Training Programs, and Designing a Help Desk that Works. They are currently running most all business applications on release 10.7 and 11. Char-Broil is the leading manufacturer of outdoor gas cooking products.
