| 9:00 - 12:00 | Presentation:"Project Related Procurement Using Project Manufacturing"
Project Manufacturing brings additional functionality for project related procurements. Project Manufacturing and Oracle Purchasing enable procuring goods for projects and storing the goods at warehouse by projects. Oracle Inventory and Project Manufacturing enable the transfer of stocks between projects and from projects to open stocks. Internal sales order can be used to issue the goods from warehouse to the project site. The presentation elaborates this functionality provided by Project Manufacturing from the procurement perspective. The setup considerations are discussed along with the integration between Oracle Project Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Entry and Projects. |

| Presentation: "Technical
Foundation - General Ledger"
This is a continuation of our series of Technical Foundation classes focusing on introducing SQL to non-technical types of Oracle applications users. Oracle provides a powerful tool for direct access to their database. This tool, SQL*Plus, is based upon a Structured Query Language or SQL. The scope of this presentation will focus on general ledger interface tables and other major GL application tables (e.g. GL_BALANCES, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS, GL_JE_LINES, etc.). The goal of this presentation is to give the non-technical an appreciation of the power and uses of SQL.
** - The Atlanta OAUG group has always had a "functional" orientation. To broaden the participation of our membership, we will begin including some technical foundation classes. This is your chance to find out a little bit about what happens "under the hood" of your Oracle applications. The June meeting looked at SQL for the non-technician. The August and October meetings will present GL and AP technical foundation classes. Come and enjoy a different look at the Oracle Applications.
