| Presentation: "Technical
Foundation - Payables
" This is a continuation of our series of Technical Foundation classes focusing on introducing SQL to non-technical types of Oracle applications users. Oracle provides a powerful tool for direct access to their database. This tool, SQL*Plus, is based upon a Structured Query Language or SQL. The scope of this presentation will focus on account payable interface tables and other major AP application tables (e.g. PO_VENDORS, PO_VENDOR_SITES_ALL, AP_INVOICES_ALL, AP_DUPLICATE_VENDORS_ALL etc.). The focus will be actual utility SQL scripts to find inactive and duplicate vendors, un-merge vendors and change invoice numbers so the vendor can be merged. The goal of this presentation is to give the non-technical an appreciation of the power and uses of SQL. | Steve Bradley, Oasis Consulting | |
