Presentation: "Assemble To Order (ATO)"

Selling items with lots of features and options can flood your Bill of Material (BOM) database with thousands of finished goods your customers will never order and can complicate your ability to forecast and plan the finished goods and the options required. This presentation will provide an overview of how to create specific Assemble To Order (ATO) master bills, how to create specidifc configured bills in Oracle Order Management and use Oracle's planning bill features to help you streamline the planning process.

Biography:
Bob Collins, CFPIM, CIRM, is a Principal Consultant for SSI North America. He has been a functional consultant for Oracle Manufacturing for five years, and was a manufacturing systems consultant for six years prior to specializing in Oracle. Bob was a materials management practitioner in manufacturing for 10 years. Bob is the President of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and an experienced instructor of the APICS Certification courses.
