Two new CRM modules, Network Logistics (NL) and Capital Resources (CR), integrate with Oracle's FA, PA, PO, INV and AP modules for tracking capital assets. Network Logistics provides the ability to track assets by physically defined elements such as CLEI, Serial Number, and Item Number in addition to locating all global assets throughout the supply chain (Purchasing, Inventory, Projects, Payables and Assets). NL also enables tracking of the entire transaction history of the components. In order to provide effective material management, NL links all related asset, project and inventory information. In addition, it provides additional enhanced functionality such as Depreciating Inventory, Mechanized Asset Creation through CRL, Receipt at Projects, and integration with 3rd party Work Force Management and Network Inventory. Communication, Utility and Services companies can use these modules to efficiently utilize their assets, reduce time to revenue and decrease operation costs.
