Presentation: "Create Overhead Cost Pools Through Oracle MassBudgets and AutoAllocations"

This presentation will discuss the concept of overhead allocation for companies using the Standard Cost Method. It will demonstrate how Oracle's Mass Budgets and Auto Allocations functionality can be used to faciliate the creation of overhead pools for the various overhead rates used in the development of a product's standard cost. The presentation will address all aspects, from design to running the various process steps. The case study examples will demonstrate specific business scenarios and how Oracle's Mass Budgets and Auto Allocations can facilitate the process.

Biography:
Michael Anenen is a Principal Consultant with SSI North America. Mike has 5+ years experience as an Oracle Applications consultant. He has 30 years of management experience across a broad range of financial responsibilities including System Development & Implementation, Cost Accounting, General Accounting, Operational Analysis and Financial Planning. Mike has leveraged this experience with extensive Oracle experieince in the areas of Financial Analyzer, Business Intelligence, Oracle Financial Suite, and Cost Management.

Paul Kraskiewicz is a Principal Consultant with SSI North America. Paul has 11 years of experience with Oracle Applications (3 years as a GL and AP user and 8 years as a consultant working with the Financial suite). He has been involved in many Oracle Application installations/upgrades. He has a strong accounting background that includes General and cost accounting, forecasting and financial planning. Paul uses this accounting experience in developing Oracle financial solutions for his clients.
