NDCHealth recently undertook the initiative to implement several new Oracle applications to complement the existing Financials. We went live on Accounts Receivables, Projects, Order Management, iTime and iExpense in April 2002. The implementation not only introduced new software, but also brought about a shared service center environment. Our discussion will focus on overall strategic plan, implementation approach, successes, and key success factors. We will discuss data conversion issues, implementation decision points and migration from a multiple billing system environment to a single Oracle solution.
