OAUG in Atlanta April 24-28

Conference will be held in our hometown Atlanta! Web site is www.oaug.org.

Here’s how the local Atlanta GEO can assist with the conference.

  1. Pick up an Atlanta Geo ribbon from our booth and be an ambassodor for Atlanta.
  2. An Atlanta GEO booth near the registration section or in the exhibit hall advertising our group. This serves two purposes. a) Serve as Welcome Ambassadors. Our Atlanta residents can answer questions about the local area and things to see/do. b) Advertise our group in order to get more members. We would man the booth on opening night and the first day of the conference.
  3. Reserved VIP seating near the front of the opening session. Don Payne to announce our presence during the General Session.
  4. Designated tables at lunches for GEO and SIGs with the Atlanta section larger and with advertisement.

Volunteers are needed for the following.

  1. Volunteers to work the booth on opening night and the first day of sessions. Contact David Wolf, dwolf@dbagroup.net.
  2. Would someone like to write a song or jingle for us to sing during the General Session?
  3. Marketing materials to hand out from the booth. Perhaps the flyer would advertise our group plus, give information about Atlanta. A volunteer to write the flyer plus pay the cost of producing.
