Motorola Energy Systems Group's 11i project: Their approach, successes and lessons learned. In a nutshell...Motorola converted five 10.7 (character) instances running on 4 different servers across the globe to a single 11i instance with a new chart of accounts. They utilized very limited outside resources, and managed to successfully complete the project at a cost of under $1M (compared to $2+M that had been budgeted for the project).
