Presentation: Oracle Punchout Feature Via the iProcurement Application

Within the Oracle iProcurement Application is a very important feature known as "Punchout". The Oracle Punchout feature makes it possible for a Requisitioner to access a supplier's Website and product catalog from within the Requisitioner's own iProcurement application. The Requisitioner leaves their iProcurement application ("punches out") and goes to the supplier's Web-based catalog to identify and select products. Pertinent information is communicated back to the Oracle iProcurement requisition screen where it is later approved, turned into a Purchase Order, and transmitted electronically directly into the supplier's Order Entry System whereby a "Pick Ticket" and "Invoice" are generated.

The Breakout Session will involve DeKalb County Government's implementation and experience with Oracle's Punchout feature.
