With many manufacturers and distributors facing higher transportation costs, there has been a lot more interest in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), the best-of-breed transportation management system formerly known as G-Log. This discussion will describe how companies are using OTM to control, and in many cases reduce, their transportation costs. The discussion will describe the "configurability" of OTM with particular attention on how 'agents" are used in OTM for managing work flows, both on the user side and in the background.
